OUR FORWARD VISION

The association shall be non-party, non-political, non-sectarian and non-profit making body and shall have the following aims and objectives 
1.1 To encourage and advance the study and practice of the science and art of Orthopaedic Surgery in the field of Limb Lengthening, Deformity Correction & Reconstruction using Ilizarov Technology or similar devices and Ilizarov’s Principles. 
1.2 To promote professional fellowship, co-operation and exchange of views among Orthopaedic Surgeons at national and international levels. 
1.3 To encourage scientific research and experimental work on Orthopaedic problems. 
1.4 To hold scientific discussions and arrange presentation of Orthopaedic papers and maintain a reference library. 
1.5 To provide for delivery and holding of lectures, meetings and classes for advancing the study and practice of the science and art of Orthopaedic Surgery in the field of Limb Lengthening, Deformity Correction & Reconstruction problems. 
1.6 To publish a bulletin of the activities of the association. 
1.7 To interact with the Bangladesh Orthopaedic Society (herein after referred to as BOS) and the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council and other medical groups and associations. 
1.8 To monitor and advise on relevant government legislation and university measures related to Ilizarov Surgery and Deformity Correction. 
1.9 To monitor and advise bodies connected with public education, the media and the press on matters related to Ilizarov Surgery.
